Sustainability

I'm interested in creating a sustainable future. My workshop is solar-powered. I reclaim unused industrial offcut card stock to create my own packaging. I try to minimise the use of plastics where possible.

I choose to create a big portion of my products from bamboo, as it has been labelled the 'worlds most sustainable material'. It is currently the fastest growing woody plant worldwide, making 25 times more usable material than hardwoods. When a bamboo field is cultivated, it self generates such that new land is not required for future harvests. The farmers can reuse the same field reducing the carbon footprint.

I'm currently researching an organisation that is active and passionate about sustainability that I can donate a portion of all proceeds towards. If you have any in mind feel free to drop me a line.
